Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your event:
Guidelines:Toxic Pop is a curated list, and we receive many more submissions each week than we could possibly list. For this reason, listings are selected by the moderator based on relevence (should be an underground arts listing), balance (we like to give equal listings to the different categories),and how recently you've been listed here. Additionally, your listing must meet our qualifications, listed below.- Deadline: Weekly listings are from Tuesday-Monday, and the newsletter is (usually) published early Tuesday morning. All listings must be received no later than noon on the Saturday before publication. - All events MUST include, at a minimum, the following: date, time, cost of event, type of event (comedy, music, etc), a concise description (a paragraph or two is usually good), and a contact email address. - Toxic Pop only publishes listings of performances and events with specific relevance to New York's alternative arts communities. - Toxic Pop does NOT publish any free listings for commercial services offered, regardless of their relevance to the community.
